I have been guilty of forcing a dead relationship or two before. We’re social creatures that sometimes get attached after all 😅
I'd get caught up reminiscing on the great happy memories I've had with someone just to escape the reality that things were not okay. Have you found yourself doing that before?
What sense does it make to preserve the relationship solely because it was once good for us but may not be worth it/is unsafe just for the purpose of "being in a relationship."
A relationship isn't a living, breathing organism that you desperately need to keep alive. A relationship is a term to describe the interaction and dynamic between two people. It's a natural occurrence! We have many relationships with every person we interact with on a regular basis. Some relationships grow in significance ❤️ and some fizzle out 💩
💞 All relationships change and continuously evolve
The important thing is that we have healthy, safe, mutually beneficial relationships throughout our lives, while our ultimate mission is to live a self actualized life (going after what we want for ourselves) 💪🏻
👏🏻 Life is too short to sacrifice your happiness or chase people who don't appreciate the full value of who you are!
